As an educator I have been the Artistic Director of a Musical Theatre Department, a Shakespearean workshop instructor and private vocal coach. I have taught and led drama and vocal classes for over a decade, with students of all ages and all skillsets. Encouraging creativity in a safe environment, my main focus is teaching students a healthy way to utilize and maintain their instrument.

GENERATIONS PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE | DIRECTOR/ INSTRUCTOR / COACH |

 · Directs students of all ages in various artistic works, focusing on plays, musical theatre and musical showcases. 

· Instructor and director of the Musical Theatre Company, coaching and honing the talents of high-school aged students with a specific focus on acting, singing and dancing.

· Conducted and lead 7-hour full day summer camps (Movie Makers, Jr. Musical Theatre, YouTube Camp, Ninja Camp) through multiple seasons.

RANDOLPH KIDS (RCPA) | DIRECTOR OF INTERMEDIATE TRIPLE THREAT & PRE-COLLEGE

 · Directs students in various artistic works, with a specific focus on plays, musical theatre.

  · Coaches students, honing their storytelling and acting capabilities.

  · Facilitates a safe and healthy environment for learning, encouraging students to grow as artists.  

CHILDREN ARTS THEATRE SCHOOL (CATS DRAMA) | SENIOR DRAMA EDUCATOR

· Educated with a specific focus on teaching the pedagogy of different styles of theatre and performing them.

· Lead classes of 4 - 20 students (ages 3-6, 7-11, 12-15) for 90 minute sessions.

· Directed plays, musicals and showcases.

· Encouraged active participation, uninhibited creation and a fun and safe environment for artistic performance.

DURHAM DISTRICT SCHOOLBOARD (DDSB) | EMERGENCY SUPPLY TEACHER

 · Supply Teaching at schools throughout Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa.  

· Facilitating classes in various subjects, in English as well as French Immersion.  

· Conducted classes from Kindergarten to Grade 12.  

STUDIO PAVAS | ARTISTIC DIRECTOR HEAD OF MUSICAL THEATRE DEPARTMENT

· Coordinated and facilitated eight hour summer/weekly camps, leading activities, workshops culminating in productions devised by students.

· Provided private 30/60-minute vocal lessons, focusing on technique and healthy vocal production.

· Director, Musical Director and Choreographer for in studio musical (Lion King Jr.).

· Pursued efforts to establish a larger subscribership and student body.

CLASSICAL THEATRE PROJECT | SHAKESPEAREAN WORKSHOP INSTRUCTOR

· Captained Shakespearean text workshops focusing on language, Shakespearean pedagogy and performance.

· Taught classes of 12-30 students as well as larger groups in gymnasiums of 100+

· Involved students in bringing Shakespeare’s works and words to life and on their feet.
