Weather Policy

T.Y.T. Theatre is committed to honouring its performance schedule. All performances proceed as scheduled despite weather conditions and traffic delays.

If travelling to the theatre in inclement weather, please allow plenty of extra time and check the TTC for delays and updates.

We regret that tickets not used due to inclement weather, traffic delays or TTC closures cannot be refunded or exchanged.

See you at the theatre!

COVID-19 TICKET POLICY
not available for past performance dates and times

Our goal is to be as flexible as possible in order to provide you with the assurance to make ticket purchases with confidence.

If any level of government puts any restrictions in place prohibiting large gatherings at venues and your show or presentation is canceled, you will receive, at your request, a credit for a future performance or a refund for that performance less the non-refundable service fee, administration and box office charge for that performance.

If your show or performance is postponed or rescheduled due to COVID-19, we will automatically move your tickets to a new date; however, you will still have the option of asking for a credit for the postponed or rescheduled performance.

If you, or any member of your party, are in quarantine or isolation, have come in close contact with someone with COVID-19 or have tested positive for COVID-19, do not visit the theatre. If, up to 48 hours prior to the date on your ticket(s) you cannot visit the theatre for the above reasons, we are offering flexible ticket exchanges and credits for a future performance. Please email admin@tyttheatre.com prior to your showtime.

  • Other Info: Any person entering the performance space, regardless of age, must hold a valid ticket and have an assigned seat. Patrons must occupy their assigned seats and may not move to other locations in the theatre without permission. Young children may be seated in a parent's lap only if they have a ticket and an assigned seat directly beside that occupied by the parent. Strollers are not permitted anywhere in the theatre.

HOW AND WHERE TO BUY TICKETS

Tickets for all performances and for other special events for which T.Y.T. Theatre acts as ticket agent - can be purchased online through its website (www.tyttheatre.com). Please note that all tickets purchased online are subject to service charges that may vary from event to event. Service charges are the same online, in-person and by phone and are non-refundable.

A TICKET IS A REVOCABLE LICENCE TO ATTEND A SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE

The holder of a valid ticket is admitted to the theatre on the condition that the holder agrees, and by use of the ticket does so agree in favor of the Producers or Presenters and the theatre owner (T.Y.T. Theatre), to the following terms and conditions of ticket purchase and sale set out herein. Any violation of these terms will entitle T.Y.T. Theatre to, as applicable, seize or cancel the ticket, withdraw the license granted below, refuse admission and/or expel a ticket-holder, in each case without payment of any refund or other compensation. The ticket is a personal, revocable license. Lost, stolen or destroyed tickets may not be honored. The ticket may not be used for advertising, promotion or for any other trade purposes.

Patrons must occupy their assigned seats and may not move to other locations in the theatre without permission.

In addition to the foregoing, T.Y.T. Theatre reserves the right to expel any ticket holder from the theatre if in its sole discretion it  determines that a ticket holder is disrupting the performance or other patrons or behaving inappropriately.

TICKET SALES

All ticket sales are final; there are no refunds or exchanges other than those described above under the heading, "Covid-19 Ticket Policy". Each ticket includes a non-refundable service fee and a non-refundable $2.50 Box Office and Administration charge. All prices are in Canadian funds. Full payment is required at time of booking, unless otherwise stated. Tickets will only be released to the purchaser once the ticket order is paid in full, unless the ticket has a zero value.

TICKET PRICES

T.Y.T. Theatre, Producers and/or Presenters reserve the right to change prices without prior notice and are entitled to implement ticket purchase limits per person or account holder, per credit card or otherwise (and either per performance or for the entire show engagement).

If the amount paid for a ticket is incorrect (regardless of whether it is incorrect because of an error in a price posted for sale or otherwise communicated through marketing emails, or printed materials, etc), if the purchaser is able to order a ticket before its scheduled on-sale or presale date, or if a ticket was purchased that was not supposed to have been released for sale, then T.Y.T. Theatre has the right to cancel that ticket (or the order for that ticket) and refund the purchaser the amount paid. This will apply regardless of whether the error occurred because of human error or a transactional malfunction of the ticketing system. If a refund is processed in error, or a refund exceeds the original amount paid, we reserve the right to recharge the original method of payment used at time of purchase.

The actual tickets delivered by mail, email, accessed through an online account or at any T.Y.T. Theatre box office, reflect the face value of the ticket. Any applicable order fees or taxes and/or service charges will appear where applicable. Mailing fees and/or additional event fees may not be broken out on the ticket, which means the prices on the ticket may not add up to the total paid on the payment confirmation.

PAYMENT DISPUTES

The ticket-holder or their guests will not attempt to evade, avoid, or circumvent any refund prohibitions in any manner with regard to tickets purchased. Without limiting the foregoing, you will not contact T.Y.T. Theatre, their other venues or authorized agents to seek a refund or exchange when that is prohibited hereunder or by the rules or policies of T.Y.T. Theatre, the show, Presenter or Producer, and you will not dispute or otherwise seek a “chargeback” from the company whose credit card you used to purchase tickets. Should the ticket-holder or their guests do so, the tickets may be canceled, and T.Y.T. Theatre may, in its sole discretion, refuse to honor pending and future ticket purchases made from all credit card accounts or online accounts on which such chargebacks have been made, and may prohibit future ticket purchases by any person who accesses or uses any associated online account or credit card (including any person whose name is listed thereon) or who otherwise breaches this provision.

TICKET RESELLER AND COUNTERFEIT TICKET WARNING
